Professional Development Committee
The Professional Development Committee, a sub-committee of the Membership Services Committee:
- works closely with the Policy Development and Recognition committees and the Districts to determine member needs and respond with appropriate programs and services;
- seeks partnerships with other groups, including government agencies and other professional associations in delivering professional development courses;
- ensures that services are cost-effective and generate revenue;
- oversees the Mentoring Program;
- addresses recommendations from the 1998 Discipline Process Review Report on professional practice improvement.
