LOBBYIST REGISTRIES
Currently, there is a mandatory “lobbyist registry” in only one Ontario municipality, Toronto. OPPI issued a Member Bulletin in March 2008, just after Toronto’s registry came into effect. That bulletin highlights aspects of the registry, including a discussion of the City’s interpretation of the registry as it relates to the usual planning process.
