District Representatives
Members of each District elect a District Representative for a two-year term on OPPI Council. The District Representative is the Chair or a member of the District Executive Committee. District representatives:
- ensure the District operates within the Standing Rules of the By-Law;
- serve as a member of the District Membership Sub-committee;
- serve as an examiner for Exam A and Exam B;
- act as a liaison between Council, the District Executive/Board of Management and the membership;
- provide a District perspective while advancing the provincial goals of the profession;
- prepare for and participate in District Executive/Board of Management Meetings and OPPI Council meetings and the annual conference.
