Discipline Committee
The committee is made up of 5 to 11 Full Members of OPPI, appointed by Council from across the Province for staggered terms of 3 years each, and one non-planner resident in Ontario. All members of the Discipline Committee are volunteers who receive no remuneration for their participation on the Committee.
This standing committee meets at the call of the chair, usually only when a formal complaint has been received. Committee members may be assigned other tasks, according to the provisions of Section 15.10 of the By-law 1-86, including investigations of various types of concerns which have been brought to the Council's attention, as well as mediation requested by Council.
Members of any other standing or working committee are not eligible to be a member of the Discipline committee.
